The Women's Fund of Winston-Salem would not be able to do its work without the support of dedicated and active volunteers who serve on the committees that guide the work of The Women’s Fund. Let us know how you would like to get involved!
Grants Committee
Are you interested in grantmaking? The Grants Committee designs and implements our grantmaking process using a racial and gender equity lens and welcomes skills in grant writing, reviewing grants, and topical areas related to our grantmaking.
Membership & Development Committee
Do you like meeting new people and telling them more about causes that are important to you? Do you like fundraising? The Membership & Development Committee oversees membership recruitment, engagement, and resource development, including recruiting new members, speaking about The Fund at community engagements, and working to engage and connect existing members. The committee also ensures membership numbers are enough to sustain our mission and seeks volunteers with talents in community engagement, public and media relations, and fundraising.
Research, Education and Advocacy Committee
Do you love working with numbers and evaluating data for research? This committee collects and analyzes data and information regarding Forsyth County women and girls across The Women’s Fund’s focus areas and engages the community to move beyond research and grantmaking for collective impact, including developing educational events and advocacy activities connecting people to local movements driving change.
